Accounting Online Degree Program Overview

Some people just like numbers. For them, digits represent a language of their own. If you’re one of those people, consider a career in accounting. Accountants prepare and examine financial records. They track cash flow, prepare taxes, and seek out ways to decrease expenses and increase revenue.

Clearly, accountants are essential to businesses and organizations, large and small. Very few could exist for long without an accountant which means they’re usually in demand. Right now, they certainly are. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of accountants and auditors is projected to grow 10 percent from 2016 to 2026, faster than the average for all occupations.*

If you’ve ever considered a career in Accounting, earning your degree online makes a lot of sense. Accountants do most of their work on a computer, after all. Of course, you’ll want to attend an online school that will be there for you, even while you’re studying alone in front that computer.

ECPI University is a leader in online education. Our classes are led by faculty that understand the nuances of online teaching, creating digital classrooms that are interactive and engaging.

ECPI University also offers a program that allows you to complete your education faster. Through our year-round, accelerated schedule, you can earn an Online Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting in as little as 2.5 years.
