Program Outcomes

Students in the online A.S. Electronics Engineering Technology program are expected to learn about subjects such as fiber optics, analog and digital electronics, control systems, and network technologies. They are also tasked with learning to use test equipment and to troubleshoot computer and network technologies. Students additionally, are expected to learn to communicate ideas to their colleagues and customers verbally and in writing.

  • An ability to apply the knowledge, techniques, skills and modern tools of the discipline to narrowly defined engineering technology activities.
  • An ability to apply a knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering, and technology to engineering technology problems that require limited application of principles but extensive practical knowledge.
  • An ability to conduct standard tests and measurements, and to conduct, analyze and interpret experiments.
