CJ380 Private Security I

This course will address and provide an in-depth overview of the management and functions of domestic and international private security operations. Students will learn and gain a full working knowledge of private security functions, legal authority, training, career opportunities, personnel protection, infrastructure control, asset protection, risk analysis and management, commercial security, institutional security, workplace violence mitigation strategies, retail loss prevention, system processes, and how to effectively conduct a security survey. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to effectively and efficiently understand, interpret, and analyze the past, present, and future trends of domestic and international private security operations.
