HLS588 Managing Technical

This course will provide students with an overview of the types of technology utilized to provide actionable/tactical information during terror, emergency and critical incidents. Students will learn the role drone technology, GIS, GPS and other forms of technology play in providing “real-time” information to first responders and managers through scenario based exercises. Upon successful course completion, students will be able to assess challenges with information dissemination, training, and budget.
