  • Assembling prototypes and electronic systems. EETs conduct the actual assembling of the newly developed technological prototypes and any other electronic systems by bringing together parts to make the systems functional.
  • Building, repairing, testing and calibrating electronic equipment. Once a prototype has been approved as a technology, the EETs build them and ensure that or the necessary markings on them are done and then later conduct repairs under supervision of engineers.
  • Coming up with solutions to technical design glitches that arise during the development and testing process by conducting periodic evaluations.
  • They also visit sites where the electrical technologies have been installed to assess the conditions that affect their functionality. At the site they conduct inspections as a quality control measure, then from the findings, they make recommendations on possible technological improvements to the designs.
  • Designing basic circuitry and sketches to explain the documentation that accompanies the design.
