ECPI University Joins Prestigious Group Approved by Project Management Institute to Provide Project Management Training

Virginia Beach, VA – January 24, 2012 - ECPI University today announces it is now approved by Project Management Institute to become a PMI Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) effective January 2012.

ECPI University will be offering an accredited course and lab in Applied Project Management. The course will develop and expand the student’s knowledge of project management methodology as defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI). The emphasis of this course is to gain management skills and resources.

The concentration of study is learning and understanding the fundamental rules and tenets of thePMBOK® and gaining an understanding of the practical application of the methodology using real life situations. The lab will apply project management concepts and theories for different case studies.
