Charleston, SC – Dr. Sonja Ogletree Satani, a member of the business management faculty at ECPI University’s Charleston campus, has been named one of the 2016 Top Ten Business Women of the Year by the American Business Women’s Association (ABWA). Honorees are selected based on their professional accomplishment, education, community involvement, and ABWA engagement. In addition, she was named to the organization’s National Board of Directors.
The American Business Women’s Association was created to bring together business women of diverse occupations and to provide them opportunities to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, and networking support.
In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Ogletree Satani also consults with small businesses. Throughout her career, she has helped more than 1,000 business owners start, grow, and maintain their businesses.
