Engineering Technology Master’s Degree Overview
The Master of Science in Engineering Technology (MSET) prepares graduates for advanced technical roles in today's rapidly evolving work environment. The program blends theory with practice, equipping students with the skills to develop real-world solutions to complex modern engineering problems.
Depending on the chosen concentration, students will explore topics such as artificial intelligence (AI) in manufacturing, renewable energy, robotics, and advanced control systems. Through hands-on projects, they apply their knowledge to design and improve technologies that enhance performance, efficiency, and sustainability.
With ECPI University’s year-round accelerated schedule, students can complete the program in as little as 13 months.
- Mechanical Engineering: Design and apply advanced methods to improve mechanical systems and manufacturing processes.
- Robotics and Autonomous Systems: Develop and implement robotic solutions that support automation and intelligent operation.
Knowledge and Skills
Graduates should grow in the following areas:
- Systems Design and Analysis:
Apply advanced engineering concepts to design, test, and improve complex systems and processes.
- Applied Problem Solving:
Develop effective and practical solutions that address specified engineering challenges and needs.
- Professional Communication:
Clearly communicate complex information through written, oral, and visual formats in both technical and non-technical settings.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
Contribute as both a leader and team member on projects that require coordination across technical fields.
Flexible Learning Environments
Our campuses provide an immersive classroom setting, interacting directly with professors and classmates in real-time. Benefit from face-to-face discussions, hands-on labs, and the immediate support of instructors.
Flexible and convenient, online learning allows you to study on your own time, from anywhere. Access lectures, lab simulations, and course materials online, collaborating with classmates through virtual forums and discussions.
To enhance flexibility, many campus courses are delivered via synchronous hybrid format, where students engage in both online learning activities and real-time interactions with instructors and classmates.
