However, you should always double-check with the school to ascertain that the tests are truly optional.
Which Scores Do You Require To Apply as an International Student in the US?
It is important to note that admissions as an international student in the US are competitive. For this reason, you need to do all you can to stand out and gain an edge over the rest. Strong test scores are certainly one of the ways to achieve that edge. While SAT and ACT scores are not mandatory in most colleges, they still need to ascertain that you are at par or above the level of literacy expected of students in the US.
