ECPI University has established a special academic scholarship program to support DOD Service Personnel who have been severely injured while in armed conflict. Download the DoD Scholarship Application
The DOD Scholarship Program is available to service personnel who have been severely injured while in armed conflict. Surviving spouses of qualifying service personnel as well as immediate family members are also eligible for the program.
Qualifying service personnel are eligible for up to $6,000.00 in scholarship tuition depending upon the academic program enrolled. Qualifying spouses are eligible for up to $6,000 in Scholarship tuition depending upon the academic program enrolled. Children of deceased qualifying service personnel are eligible for up to $6,000.00 in scholarship tuition depending upon the academic program enrolled.
- $1,000 career education award
- Available to any qualified active duty, honorably discharged, or retired military veteran of any United States military service branch
- For degree programs at a participating career colleges, including ECPI University
How is the Scholarship Applied?
Scholarships may be applied toward tuition for Certification, Certificate, Diploma, and Degree Programs. The exact amount of the scholarship will be determined based upon the normal tuition associated with the desired academic program. The maximum scholarship amounts will be allocated toward full Degree Programs. Scholarships may be applied toward traditional in-seat as well as on-line degree programs.

Disbursement
The authorized amount for this scholarship will be dependent upon the program enrolled. Scholarship requests are to be initiated by the eligible service member or qualifying family member by submission of a scholarship application. Maximum amount authorized will be for Degree Programs and will be applied to the first two academic years of either the 2 year or 4 year degree programs.
- $6,000.00 Scholarship Total Award ($1,500 per academic year)
Diploma Programs
The maximum amount authorized for a Diploma Program is 25% of the regular tuition of the complete Diploma Program. This amount will be divided by the number of semesters in the program and credited by semester.
Certificate and Certification Programs
The maximum amount authorized for these programs is 25% of the regular tuition for the Certificate/Certification Program. The scholarship amount for Certificate/Certification Programs will be credited upon enrollment.
